Today I am going to talk about great ancestors : the Polynesian navigators and how they lead the people on their waka.

Polynesian navigators were so impressive because they were smart and respectful to their peers and they found different ways to navigate and to find their way to different islands. They could also use the stars on a compass, it's called a star compass. They also use the sun to also track where they are. They also use the Matariki stars to navigate their way at night. Matariki is a big star cluster

Exquisite Sentence

Yesterday I learnt about space and rockets and we had to write a sentence about it, here is mine :

In space, it is really dark and there is a lot of planets but there is also this beautiful place that is purple, blue and white and
it is called the Milky Way.

Sound words

 Today my class had to make a Google drawing of a picture that could have a Onomatopoeia word in its sentence like the two cars crashed or the water went splash. First we had to make a Google drawing and name it sound words and then click on insert then click on search the web now search what object or thing that you wanna do but if it is a animal put png at the end of it so it has no background. Now Search for a background of what those animals do make it cover the hole screen and click on Arrange then order then send to back now click on shapes then callouts and put the Onomatopoeia in it. Here is mine and comment if you have done this before.

TikTok Food Hack

Kia ora Bloggers Today my siblings, Aunty, Uncle and I made Quesadilla´s we got the idea from TikTok. The ingredients you need is Tortillaś, Cheese and Ham. First cut a line from the top into the middle then put your Cheese and ham on the corners of the Tortilla and then flip the corners on to each other and let it cook on the pan. After it looks crispy flip it on to the other side and after that side is crispy put it on a plate and enjoy. This is what it should look like. Comment if you have done something similar to this.

Summer learning journey

Yesterday My class did some art activity for summer learning journey. My art was a Asian girl wearing a robe and brushing her hair. First I made her hair black, After I made her skin light brown and made her comb blue. Her dress had flowers so I made the flowers red and then made the background black. The thing that was challenging was clicking the small stuff because when you try click it, It coloured in the big parts. Here is my art.

Senior Tabloids sports

Last week Pita,Miraj and I we Leaded in a sports called Line tag It was like tag but you have stay on the lines that is why it is called Line tag. When the first group came we told them to sit down so we can explain,we explained the game to them. First we said there are two taggers and you have to stay on the line. Duffy Theatre

Today our whole school got to see the Duffy show. First they introduced themselves to us and there names in the show the names were Duffy,Bex,Dad and Millie. When they began it started with Bex reading books about Animals and then Duffy came with more books about Animals. Then Bex tells Duffy about her Coggen and Duffy doesn't believe Bex. So she tells him how she got it and there was a flashback with Dad talking to Bex and Bex talks about her books about animals and talks about the Coggen and she says that she wants one.So her Dad watches a Youtube video to see how he can get a Coggen and he did so he did some work and it arrived.

When they put it inside it came out they were scared and frightend by the Coggen and then the flashback ended. Then Duffy met the Coggen and they named it Millie and then Millie started running around then she pooped on the floor and then chewed on the books and chased Duffy. Right after that Bex yelled at Millie and said stop Millie and Millie ran away but they forgot about her and they did not know that she went to the forest and then dad came and ask where is Millie and they said yeah where is she  then they started looking for her and then Duffy and Bex used the Books to see what Coggens like to do. Dad wrote a poster about what Millie likes to do and a Picture of Bex and Millie. Bex and Duffy saw that Coggens like singing so they looked for a song and found one and they tried to get lots if people to sing with them. Unexpectedly heaps of people came and they sang a song and Millie came Back and Bex apoligized to Millie about what she said to her The end.
